Donald Wayne Pike was born in Richmond, Missouri to John and Mildred Pike on September 5, 1941. Don's sister Shirley was his best friend. They would talk every day on the phone and Shirley was like a mother to Don while they were growing up in Kansas City, Kansas. Don loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He retired from the City of Carrollton Parks Department after eighteen years of service.

Don is preceded in death by his father John Pike, his mother Mildred Pike, and his son Brian...

Don is survived by his son, Kevin Pike and his wife Michelle of Prosper; granddaughter Alyssa Pike of The Colony; great granddaughter April Pike of The Colony; sister, Shirley Mays of Denton; ex-wife, Jackie Davis of Kansas; nieces, Nicole Mansell of Virginia Beach, Sarah Toschlog and her husband Jason of League City, Sandy Manious of Denton, Sherry Baker and her husband Austin of Denton; nephews, Don Turner and his wife Kari of Argyle, Bruce Turner and his wife Theresa of Highland Village, Barry Turner and his wife Vicki of Highland Village, Gerald A. Mays and his wife Linda of Richardson; and his long-time friend Billy White of Denton.
